Wired lighting network
NXP has introduced the industry’s first development platforms for wired lighting control systems based on the 32-bit ARM® Cortex™-M0 architecture – with evaluation systems now available for DALI, DMX512 and KNX networks. The extra-low-power features of NXP LPC1100XL series microcontrollers are particularly attractive for DALI networks in commercial buildings, where total energy savings are a critical factor. For DMX networks, NXP Cortex-M0 offers the resources and performance required to support more sophisticated architectural and entertainment lighting projects. For KNX building automation networks, NXP Cortex-M0 microcontrollers help to dramatically lower the cost per KNX node, making this a game-changing solution for major home and building control projects throughout the world.
