Background information

Each PMU draws on an extensive array of process technologies, IP libraries, and system know-how to deliver the right combination of features. Programmable options deliver a high degree of flexibility and customization. Each PMU is programmable via an I2C interface and uses power-enable pins to provide real-time control of power management. Techniques for the autonomous support of the back-up battery also increase performance in real time. Special functions, including backlight dimming and ambient light control, enhance display performance. Other options, like SIM and touchscreen interfaces, ADCs, and other non-power functions, deliver better performance and higher efficiency in less space.
