Simplifying design for fast time-to-market, the TV505 reference design allows you to create affordable 50-60 Hz LCD TVs. It can be easily extended to support digital reception with the DE200/50 digital adapter and a single solution, the TV505D, is also available that combines these two boards.

Enabling you to build affordable LCD TVs, the TV505 is based on the TDA15500 LCD TV One Chip. The highly integrated TDA15500 includes all the video and audio processing, control, microcontroller and LCD scaler functions typically found in a mainstream analog LCD TV.
The TV505 can be easily extended to support digital reception with the DE200/50 digital adapter, which provides MPEG-2 digital video decoding. A separate reference design, the TV505D, is available that combines these two boards in a single solution that is ideal for mainstream LCD TV manufacturers wanting to enter the DVB-T DTV market.
