When designing a DC/DC converter, NXP's Schottky diodes in the newly released, thermal-enhanced FlatPower package technology are the most space-efficient solution. Designed for a very low forward voltage at high currents makes these Schottky diodes ideal for DC/DC efficiency enhancement, SMPS circuits or secondary side rectification.

New developments in portable applications demand small solutions with more functionality. NXP has built a new charger transistor by combining a low saturation BISS transistor and a small-signal MOSFET driver. These two products are integrated in the industry leading leadless and ultra thin SMD package SOT1118.
