Angular sensors Sensor portfolio

NXP's magnetoresistive angle sensors operate using a contactless, true angular measurement principle that is not affected by magnetic field strength variations.

By using a true angular measurement approach NXP's magneto-resistive (MR) angular sensors work accurately and reliably with no magnetic field strength variations. MR sensors operate virtually independent of magnet shifts and drifts due to lifetime, thermal influences or mechanical stress. They enable angular measurements with high accuracy by an excellent linearity and temperature drift behavior.

NXP's KMA sensor systems combine the MR sensor-head and the signal-conditioning IC in a multi-chip package. Furthermore each device is pre-calibrated and can be programmed for application specific output characteristics. Alternatively The KMZ sensors provide a MR sensor element for high precision angle measurement applications. The sinusoidal raw output signals can be externally processed according to the application requirements.
