First in a family of application-specific LED driver ICs, it offers a cost-effective turnkey solution for global LCU (Lighting Control Unit) modules. Providing constant current DC/DC conversion for any design configuration, the ASL1010 series gives you system flexibility and enables design re-use.
By integrating the core functions critical to automotive LED lighting, the new range of automotive qualified LED driver ICs offer a compact, all-in-one solution which requires few additional components, enabling more cost-effective, elegant and reliable LED module designs. At the same time, the NXP system solution offers flexibility to cover different car platforms, configurations, output voltages, and numbers of LEDs, without requiring a redesign of the PCB. Furthermore, the integrated design eliminates the need for an external microcontroller.
