for two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1
suppliers. Available in a production-ready digital instrument cluster form
factor, the new DCC platform provides a turnkey solution for entry-level,
mass-market scooters and motorcycles. This new DCC platform is also optimized for other vehicles, like tuk-tuks and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) designed for
sports, farming and industrial use.
Mass Market Digital Transformation
The DCC platform combines NXP’s comprehensive silicon and software
portfolio, two-wheeler platform expertise and years of experience and customer support in the automotive industry
with Tessolve’s embedded solutions and systems integration prowess to
address the emerging electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler market. The
cost-efficient DCC platform accelerates and simplifies access to integrated
technologies through one scalable form-factor design that reduces costs and
streamlines development. Vehicle manufacturers can choose to use the
platform "as-is" in their cluster design, or they can work with Tessolve to
customize both the software and hardware aspects of the design according to
their specific vehicle needs.

integrate the AW611 Wi-Fi® 6 connectivity solution
and i.MX RT1170 MCU
to deliver rich digital cluster graphics and advanced audio connectivity.
It also leverages the NXP KW45 Bluetooth® Low Energy wireless MCU
to enable secure, wireless access and location functions for riders. When
the KW45 MCU in the digital cluster is registered in popular search
applications, riders can use a smartphone to track the location of their
two-wheeler on a map and trigger a sound/light indication when they are in close
proximity. NXP also offers the multi-channel PF5103 PMIC, enabling power sequence control and fault management,
including power supply for peripheral devices.

Advanced graphics and smartphone connectivity enable rich user experience

The reference platform simplifies the design process for customers by
integrating multiple NXP System-on-Chips (SoCs) and other key components
into a system-on-module (SOM) board based on the versatile Smart Mobility Architecture (SMARC) form factor. The SOM is mounted onto an application
board that provides additional system functions and connectivity to the
display and other vehicle electronic control units (ECUs). The DCC features
a modern, compact reference enclosure designed by Tessolve. Constructed of
ABS plastic, the digital cluster enclosure houses the thin-film transistor
(TFT) display, LED indicators, rider-facing camera, rider input buttons, a
USB 2.0 port, and connectors for power, CAN interface, sensors and other
IOs.
