PC Server

Sandy’s busy working from home. While she’s waiting for an urgent email from a colleague, she decides to watch the latest business news headlines on her PC. At the same time, she records a new comedy program to watch once she’s finished working for the day.

The PC server is based on a standard Windows XP PC with a NXP multi-tuner card. The tuner card lets you receive live broadcasts from satellite, cable or terrestrial broadcasts and view them on the PC monitor. You can also watch one program while recording another to the hard drive. A UPnP media server provides content resources to the other Connected Living devices, letting you enjoy your content on a normal TV in the comfort of your living room or via a portable display anywhere in the house.
