Computex Taipei (June 3-7) is one of Asia's leading IT extravaganza's and THE place for OEMs and ODMs to come together. This year NXP participated in Computex by displaying our latest vibrant media products and solutions at 101 building Taipei - the tallest and most exclusive commercial building in the world.

CompuForum highlights
During the exhibition's second day, Chief Technology Officer of NXP, René Penning de Vries, was the first keynote speaker at CompuForum 2008. He delivered a speech on the “Business of Innovation”, sharing NXP's experience in driving the industry's innovation and technological breakthroughs.
During an informative and inspiring speech, he touched on the importance of innovation in the semiconductors industry. Highlighting NXP's innovations in wireless sensor networks, René stated that NXP is developing technologies that will allow people to interact with technology where ever they are and optimize their sensory experience. He also shared examples of NXP's development and performance in Taiwan and China demonstrating the commitment and intimacy NXP enjoys with the local industrial partners.
