Based on the latest NFC specifications of the European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI), the PN544 is a fully compliant platform designed to make it easier than ever for everyone in the mobile ecosystem - handset manufacturers, mobile operators, banks, retailers, and service providers - to deliver advanced mobile services.
With the PN544 integrated into their mobile phones, consumers will have better on-the-go experiences. They'll be able to make mobile payments, buy tickets for events and public transportation, and even share data directly from their mobile SIM cards.
The new IC fully supports the GSM Association's Pay-Buy-Mobile initiative and offers complete backward compatibility and interoperability with existing contactless infrastructure for payments and ticketing.
