I have a lot of opportunities here because of the size of the company. It means your career can take several directions. My job is to coordinate several activities within a project for several applications. For example, I'm currently working on electronic passports; we're integrating data storage chips into normal passports.
I've progressed at NXP because I'm willing to take responsibility. I get support from my management to do this. I spent my final year of study with NXP (Philips) Semiconductors. I joined for a three month practical training period, because I was interested in getting started in analog design.
