The new 'Standard Products' portal - part of nxp.com - provides access to all our standard product solutions and applications. The portal provides important information on NXP's range of diodes, bipolar transistors, MOSFETs, from small signal to power, as well as thyristors and ESD protection products. Similar to the main NXP site, the Standard Products gateway has focuses on:

• product and application sections;
• focus pages about recently launched products;
• news items;
• related documents and
• package information

In addition we have included a special 'Differentiate your design' section, which offers simple solutions to some of today's design challenges - simply click the box to view key Standard Product solutions and innovative technologies, organized under four topical sections:

Energy efficiency: If your focus is on low power consumption then check out this section - there are links to some of our most energy friendly solutions. Integration: Want to get more into less? These devices will save you space, design time and help you get more from your products. Packaging: NXP's offerings for more sophisticated functionality in smaller form factors. Protection: This section highlights a sample of our extensive ESD protection device portfolio

Our new portal is another step in this direction: It allows a direct and quick view on our extensive portfolio and the technologies we offer", says Frans Scheper, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Business Unit Standard Products at NXP, and gives an outlook: "The next move will be to include NXP's other standard ICs in to the portal."
