At Strategies in Light 2012 stop by to see demonstrations of NXP’s GreenChip semiconductor solutions for Smart Lighting, SSL dimming, professional and retrofit solutions.

We will be demonstrating our Greenchip Smart Lighting reference designs for retrofit LED bulbs that allow control from simple remote controls to sophisticated smart phones or any IP enabled device. You can also see demos of our latest SSL2108 and SSL2110 LED drivers for retrofit bulb or other LED driver applications up to 13W.

Our SSL2108 low cost, high efficiency LED buck driver delivers over 90% efficiency and true constant current control with better than 3% accuracy. The SSL2110 is low cost, high efficiency LED Flyback driver that featurs a digital core that enables Smart Digital Control (SDC) for application requiring a high power factor (> 0.95) and low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) (< 20 %); or very small form factor (low LED current ripple with small electrolytic capacitors) . The SSL2110 also provides state of the art flyback efficiency of 88% and true constant current regulation with primary side sensing, eliminating the need for opto-couplers.
