Descriptive summary

NXP offers best-in-class one-chip car entertainment solutions, integrating both car radio and audio functions in one IC. The TEF690x family is the first such solution which takes advantage of a highly reliable BiMOS analog process technology to create an efficient one-chip for automotive applications. This combines proven tuner front-end architecture and high quality standard audio analog signal processing.

Our next generation family,TEF663x, takes a leap forward by building a total solution in standard 65 nm CMOS technology. The front-end tuner technology uses RFCMOS architectural design with DSP-based radio and audio processing. As a result of digital processing, highly advanced radio algorithms for improved reception and a suite of audio post-processing software enable you to meet key OEM requirements in a cost-effective solution.
