Descriptive summary

NXP’s Automotive LCD segment drivers are specifically designed for automotive applications such as instrument cluster, car radios, climate controls and tachographs. Due their low power consumption these products are also suitable for key fob application.

They all the necessary driving signals to interface to almost any low multiplex Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) of Twisted Nematic (TN), Super Twisted Nematic (STN) and Black Nematic (BN) type. Our LCD segement drivers cover a wide range of resolutions from 4x32 up to 4x160 segments and are available in TQFP, LQFP and TSSOP packages or alternatively as die with gold bumps for Chip On Glass application.
