Our TEF660x ICs are one of the market‘s first alignment-free, low-IF tuners that can be designed directly onto the main board without in-depth RF know-how. That lets you to reduce component and design costs, and board space.
NXP‘s proven low IF architecture delivers tremendous benefits. The TEF660x family eliminates both 10.7 MHz and 450 kHz IF transformer coils and ceramics as well as several other external AM and FM components. Critical high frequency PCB layouts and alignments - and hence separate tuner modules - are not needed. So, even if your RF know-how or resources are limited, you can reduce costs by applying the TEF660x to the main PCB board. Our TEF66xx family of one-chip tuner solutions offers a choice of features and performance to meet a variety of price points.
