Our single-chip LIN I/O slave expander helps you create cost-efficient, fail-safe in-car LIN networks. This versatile device complies fully with the LIN 2.0 specification, supporting 'plug-and-play' system integration to cut development times and costs. It perfectly matches the basic philosophy behind LIN, namely delivering cost-effect systems to make driving safer and more convenient.
The UJA1023 offers 8 I/O ports, each of which can be configured via the LIN bus and is fully protected against transients. In addition, it includes automatic bit rate detection, a configurable limp-home state and PWM, ADC and switch-matrix operation - all in a small SO16 package. So it's ideal for a wide range of LIN-multiplexed, in-vehicle safety and comfort applications.
