Optimized for very long operating ranges, our HITAG™ family of passive RFID ICs is designed for a broad array of identification applications including livestock tracking, casino gaming, access control and all kinds of logistic applications.
Products
Operating at the frequency of 100 to 150kHz, HITAG was the first tag IC family on the market to support a highly sophisticated anti-collision feature, allowing several tags to be read simultaneously. HITAG read/write transponder ICs provide a high level of security featuring mutual authentication followed by encrypted data transmission, ensuring data is kept safe and preventing unauthorized copying of the tag. HITAG reader ICs provide an easy path to customized reader/writer development.
Applications
HITAG ICs can be found in a broad range of applications, including access control, time and attendance tracking, metering, ski ticketing, electronic keys, gas cylinder identification, logistics, animal identification (conforming to ISO 11784/85), asset tracking and gaming.
