Products
Our contactless reader ICs and modules are integral to the MIFARE® Interface Platform and meet ISO 14443 A specifications, and are thus compatible with all MIFARE® cards. For contact applications, our fully ISO 7186-compatible contact reader modules make it easy to design complete system solutions. Finally, our TDA800x range of card reader interfaces are fully ESD protected and ISO 7816-compatible.
Applications
Our MIFARE® card reader components are suitable for any contactless application, and are the industry standard for contactless smart card schemes. The applications range from electronic ticketing in public transport, road tolling, airline ticketing, access control, metering to PC network access.
Our contact reader ICs/components deliver the highest security for a wide range of applications including banking, e-commerce and SIM cards for mobile phones.
Our smart card reader interfaces are finding their way into applications requiring cascade facilities for multiple readers on a single bus, including set-top boxes for pay TV, as well as banking and e-commerce applications.
