Descriptive summary
The P60D144, P60D080, and P60D024 devices are the first members of the new SmartMX2 family with different EEPROM sizes. They offer a common set of functional blocks and interfaces, supporting high-performance, high-security contact, dual-interface and contactless applications. They deliver fully concurrent operation of contact and contactless communication.
Controller architecture
Amongst other components, the modular controller architecture includes (1) SmartMX2 CPU with enhanced application instruction set supporting 32-/24-/16-/8-bit move, logical and arithmetic functions, (2) a Fame2 coprocessor based on innovative power-efficient and fast architecture for optimized RSA/ECC cryptography, and (3) an SBC coprocessor interface with multiple data/key register sets supporting both AES and Triple-DES. The implemented non-volatile memory is based on EEPROM/ROM for the first P60 SmartMX2 family members and will soon also be based on Flash memory for the upcoming P61 SmartMX2 family members.
New security features
New security features include measures targeting combined laser light attacks and the integrity of code execution and data fetch.
Development tool suite
Based on approved suppliers Keil and Ashling, our development tool suite has μVision4 user interface and new, high-performance ‘SmartICE series’ emulation hardware.
