Descriptive summary

Highly integrated in-vehicle-networking (IVN) products such as our system basis chip (SBC) families solve your biggest challenges when designing innovative electronic control units – size, scalability and power consumption. You can reduce standby current consumption to the bare minimum in applications such as body controllers by combining our SBCs with other smart NXP products.

Scalable platform

With vehicles having an increasing number of networked components, we offer the transceiver solutions you need to ensure your automotive electronics communicate efficiently and intelligently. Our SBC families with scalable platform approach allow you to create robust, fail-safe ECUs quickly and easily. They give you a scalable, flexible networking and power management solution in a single package, and provide full PCB design flexibility.

Our SBC families

The UJA107xA, a core SBC family, targets applications with CAN/LIN networks and provides a scalable 5 V or 3.3 V supply system supporting up to 250 mA. Additional features like Watchdog, Limp Home, Enable and dedicated Wake inputs are integrated as well. The UJA106x SBC family incorporates additional fail-safe features. Also, the family consists of many products sharing the same package and pin-out, enabling easy exchange of variants. In the TJA1028, a LIN transceiver is integrated with a supply system that supports 5 V or 3.3 V up to 70 mA. It makes a very compact solution for LIN slave applications. The UJA1023 is an integrated LIN IO slave system that controls 8 I/O ports via communication on the LIN bus.
