Technical summary

NXP LVT family is a very fast, low-power, family of products fabricated in an advanced sub-micron BiCMOS process. At a supply voltage of 3.3 V, LVT matches 5.0 V ABT BiCMOS operating speeds while consuming considerably less power. The lower power consumption reduces output swing. All NXP LVT bus interface products have built-in bus hold (bus hold is not available on gates). Because of this, NXP LVTH products are functionally equivalent to NXP LVT products. LVTH products are offered for part numbering compatability with LVTH products from other suppliers, and either NXP LVT or LVTH parts may be substituted. Pin and function compatibility with ABT ensures the easy migration of existing systems to 3.3 V. Plus, for application in unregulated systems, the LVT family features supply voltages as low as 2.7 V. Also, the LVT family offers designers a variety of gate devices to choose from.
