Descriptive summary

NXP Semiconductors offers CD processors for baseband audio CD decoding and a single chip audio controller with embedded ARM7 processor for automotive and aftermarket applications. The ARM7 based system internally supports also MP3 and WMA audio streams as well as ESP by an external (P)SRAM. This flexibility enables our tier-1s and OEMs to minimize cost of ownership by reducing the complexity of the systems.
