The following software development tools are available for Nexperia Home ICs:
Nexperia NH-8550 Software Development Kit (SDK)
Available to Nexperia Home Partners, the NH-8550 SDK contains reference hardware, a programmable remote control, audio/video streaming software, operating systems, sample and demonstration applications, and documentation for Nexperia PNX8550 applications development. The NH-8550 SDK fully supports the WindRiver VxWorks compiler and debugger.
Nexperia Development Kit (NDK)
For the Nexperia PNX1300, PNX1500 and PNX1700 media processors, the NDK provides developers with software development tools including a TriMedia compiler, debugger, profiler, and operating system as well as sample applications and documentation. The tools run on reference hardware available from Nexperia Home Partners (Momentum Data Systems and/or Streaming Networks).
API for Nexperia Home Products
Software development on Nexperia Home ICs is simplified through the use of the Universal Home API (UHAPI), an emerging API standard focused on audio and video processing.
