Power demands in today's PC applications continue to rise. As advanced gaming and multimedia features are becoming ever more commonplace, consumers are always looking for enhanced graphics performance from their computers. Additionally, with more and more peripherals being added to notebook PCs, improved system power efficiency is vital to ensure battery lifetimes. NXP's innovative LFPAK (SOT669) package, helps deliver high-performance MOSFETs that have been proven to be more efficient at all typical currents and supply voltages than rival SO8-housed devices with a similar on-state resistance.

Designed specifically to help power the next generation of graphics cards and allow manufacturers to meet consumer demands, the PH5330E keeps consumption to a minimum when operating from either the AGP or PCI Express supply voltage. Respectively for notebook PC VRMs (voltage regulator modules) and system power supplies, the PH7030L offers market-leading high-side performance with minimum switching losses, reducing the number of required SO8 packages and board space requirements.
