Silicon Controlled Rectifiers are half cycle AC or DC power switches with positive gate triggering. They offer high voltage capability and are available in a range of gate sensitivities. Their planar passivated construction ensures voltage ruggedness and reliability. They are used in AC or DC applications. Forward conduction is latched, so when operated in DC circuits the load current must be reduced to zero to allow them to turn off.
The product family is available in many packages including TO-92, SOT82, IPAK, TO-220 and SOT186A. Surface mount options include SOT223, DPAK and D²PAK.
Based on our planar wafer technology, our SCRs provide best-in-class reliability and quality.
Our SCRs have a large variety of gate sensitivity and load current options to enable our customers to choose the right device for any application.
