Multi-PHY IEEE® 802.15.4 + Bluetooth® Smart/Low Energy Solutions

NXP offers multi-PHY Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth Low Energy) AND IEEE 802.15.4 solutions for those applications that require a single device to connect to multiple networks with different PHYs for concurrent radio communication. These solitons offer smaller form factor designs at a lower cost than multi-chip solutions. Use cases include a product being able to directly communicate with a mobile device via BLE as well as actively participating in an IEEE 802.15.4 network, like Thread or ZigBee® as well as using the alternate PHY for securely commissioning a product onto a mesh based network.
