Executive Vice President and General Manager,
Multimarket Semiconductors Business Unit

Alexander Everke is Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Multimarket Semiconductors Business Unit within NXP, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips. In this role, Alexander is a member of the NXP executive management team (EMT) headed by President and CEO Frans van Houten. On an interim basis, he will assume responsibility for the global sales function at NXP.
Previously, Alexander was senior vice president and general manager of the NXP Semiconductors Power Management business line, comprising product lines located in Hazel Grove, UK; Shanghai, China; Caen, France; and Nijmegen, Netherlands, as well as two wafer fabs located in Hazel Grove and Jilin, China.
Alexander joined NXP in 2006 from Infineon Technologies, where he served most recently as senior vice president and general manager of the Chip Card & Security ICs business unit. During his ten years at Infineon, he held a number of senior management positions, including senior vice president of global sales reporting to the management board. Before Infineon was separated from Siemens, Alexander worked for several years in the Memory Products division of Siemens Semiconductors.
Alexander holds an international business degree, as well as a master of science degree in electrical engineering, from the University of Bochum.
