Karl-Henrik Sundström leads and manages the financial operations for NXP, overseeing the finance and accounting and information technology on a global scale. In this role, he is a member of the NXP Board of Management and executive management team (EMT), headed by Frans van Houten.
He joined NXP in May 2008, bringing to the company a wealth of experience in managing a global finance operation, including management of an extensive M&A program.
In a successful 22 year career at Ericsson, Karl-Henrik gained general management experience leading the company's Global Services Operations and its Australian and New Zealand business before his appointment as Chief Financial Officer in 2003. He was named the best CFO in Europe for 2004, 2005, and 2006 by Institutional Investor magazine.
Karl-Henrik participated in an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1997 and holds a degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting form the Uppsala University, Sweden.
