Marc Cetto is Executive Vice President and General Manager of the mobile and personal business unit within NXP, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips. In this role, Marc is a member of the NXP executive management team reporting to Frans van Houten.


Under his leadership, the company’s vibrant media technologies enable the development of handheld devices that allow connected consumers to communicate, connect to and receive multimedia information at home or on the move.


Previously, Marc was the General Manager of the Mobile Connectivity Solutions Business Unit at Texas Instruments, where he was responsible for the company’s non-cellular wireless products. Leading teams in the U.S., Israel, India, Taiwan, Korea and Japan, Marc oversaw the business unit’s Research & Development, engineering, sales, marketing and operations functions.


Marc began his career as a Production Planning Engineer at Texas Instruments in 1989. After that he had various Sales & Marketing roles. By 1996, he was the Director of TI’s European Broadband Access Business Unit where he focused on networking and DSL products and moved to the US to assume this function on a global basis. In 2001, Marc was appointed General Manager for TI’s Wireless Networking Business Unit, driving the development of the industry’s largest system-level product portfolio and establishing TI’s leadership market share in mobile WiFi.


Marc has an MS from the Ecole Nationale Superieure D’Arts et Metiers in Paris and an MBA from the Institut Superieur Des Affaires (HEC/ISA).
