Pascal Langlois is Senior Vice President, responsible for Global Sales for NXP, the newly independent semiconductor company founded by Philips. Pascal is responsible for driving sales for NXP and to ensure excellent support to our customers around the world. In this role, he is part of the NXP executive management team (EMT), headed by Frans van Houten.
Pascal previously served as Senior Vice President Channel Management and Multimarket Semiconductors sales at Philips Semiconductors. Under his leadership, Philips Semiconductors significantly improved its leadership position in distribution and the EMS channel by creating one of the largest and strongest partner networks in the industry.
Prior to this role, Pascal served as Vice President and General Manager Sales & Marketing for Automotive, achieving significant business growth across the world. Under his leadership Philips Semiconductors played a main role in the creation of the Flexray consortium.
Prior to joining Philips Semiconductors in 1999, Pascal held the position of Vice President and General Manager Europe, Asia at VLSI Technology. In this role he was instrumental in pioneering system-on-chip technologies, winning key customers and growing the business in the wireless, digital consumer and computing segments. In addition, he was co-founder and President of Comatlas, a subsidiary of VLSI Technology, making chips and software for set top boxes.
In the early part of his career, Pascal worked for National Semiconductors and Arrow-Jermyn. He has more than 22 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
