Senior Vice President, Human Resource Management

Peter Kleij is Senior Vice President of Human Resource Management for NXP, the newly independent semiconductor company founded by Philips.
Peter's primary objective is to establish NXP as the employer of choice, focusing on attracting and developing a highly talented workforce, organizational development, encouraging diversity and providing world-class human resource related solutions. In this role, he is also part of the NXP executive management team (EMT), headed by Frans van Houten.
Previously, Peter was responsible for Management & Organizational Development at Philips Components. He joined Philips in 1996 and became global manager in the human resources organization in September 2002. Peter has extensive international working experiences from several assignments in Asia and the U.S. Prior to Philips he worked for several companies including AT&T.
Peter holds a Masters degree in social and organizational psychology from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands.
