Ruediger Stroh

Ruediger Stroh is General Manager of the Identification Business at NXP Semiconductors. In this role, he reports to Rick Clemmer, President and CEO at NXP, and is part of the NXP Management Team (MT). Stroh is responsible for the global strategy, R&D, operations, marketing and overall profit and loss of the Identification Business. Markets include Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), Banking, eGovernment, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).


Before joining NXP in 2009, Ruediger led LSI’s Storage Peripherals business, overseeing silicon solutions for hard disk and solid state drives addressing consumer and enterprise markets. He assumed his position as Executive Vice President at LSI as part of the merger with Agere Systems, where he headed Agere’s Storage Division.


Prior to Agere he served as CEO for a number of start-up companies including startups focused on Storage Area Networks and Wireless LAN as well as a nano-materials company focused on next-generation nano-electronics and other markets.


Ruediger Stroh began his career at Siemens AG where he held multiple management positions before joining Infineon Technologies and participating in the company’s IPO as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Network and Computer Storage, Data Communication and Consumer business.


Ruediger holds a degree in business administration and engineering from the University of Applied Science in Saarbrücken, Germany.
