To demonstrate our concern for quality throughout our manufacturing and business processes, we aim to meet the most demanding standards of international quality certification, as well as using the Business Excellence model of EFQM.
World-class quality is an important goal for NXP Semiconductors, and as early as 1990, all of our manufacturing centers across world had achieved ISO 9001 certification - the international reference for best practices in quality management. In addition all those organizations that service the Automotive industry are certified to ISO/TS16949:2002.
To achieve ISO 9001 certification, companies must specify what they do to:
- meet their customers′ quality requirements
- apply all relevant regulatory requirements
- enhance customer satisfaction
- ensure continuous improvements in line with these objectives

For us, quality, sustainability and an active concern for the environment go hand in hand. So our manufacturing sites are also ISO 14001 certified, proving our commitment to minimal environmental impact as well as world-class quality in products and processes.
