NXP now offers its new Interface conditioning product IP4786 for High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) transmitter host interfaces. It includes a wide range of features as 5V LDO, 340 MHz pixel clock (3.4 GBit datarate), deep color mode and HDMI Ethernet & Audio return Channel (HEAC) compatible.

Furthermore, it supports DDC capacitive decoupling between system side and HDMI connector side and buffering to drive cable with high capacitive load (> 700 pF/25 m). It also has the highest integration in a small footprint on PCB level with optimized RF routing, in a 32-pin HVQFN leadless package. Next to that it supports/includes all external I/O lines with ESD protection of at least ±8 kV in accordance with the IEC 61000-4-2, level 4 standard.

IP4786 is ideal for Set Top Boxes, Blue Ray Player, Notebook and Netbook applications.
