New industrial applications that boost the development of China’s semiconductors industry.
NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors Division) established its first office in China in 1986. In the 30 years since it began operations in China, NXP has been working on cultivating and expanding its business in the Chinese market. To promote the effective exchange of technology and foster collaborative development in the Chinese integrated circuit industry, NXP formally set up its regional headquarter in Shanghai in 2015.
With the driving idea of “Technology for Innovation, Partnership for Collaboration”, NXP is using its technical expertise and localized service to drive new industrial applications and boost the development of China’s semiconductor industry.
Today, NXP has offices in 14 cities – including Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Suzhou, six R&D facilities, one facility in Tianjin that uses industry-leading technology, multiple joint ventures with local enterprises, and over 7,000 employees across Greater China.
