Physical and information security is a growing concern in the connected world. Smart locks are one piece of the puzzle in security property as well as controlling access to both information and physical spaces.
A smart lock can be accessed via NFC contact or contactless technology. It can also use Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with a user’s smartphone to add an additional level of security. Interaction with smart locks can range from something as simple as LEDs illuminating to give the user an indication of lock status, to LCD panels with graphics and touchscreen control.
We provide a variety of connectivity and analog options for this application like low power NFC or BLE, and enables smart phone access control. The accelerometer provides the information about position of lock, while MiFARE provides the smart card access feature.
