NXP: Why is NXP a great company to work for in general?
Lisa Ziermann: NXP encourages its employees to shine. I love that we are all
encouraged to be innovative and creative and to do what we are passionate
about. This creates great energy and a work environment in which employees can
develop and grow themselves. It’s exactly the right spirit for a company that
is working on the technologies of the future. NXP really supports employee
growth from the start, I have personally experienced this along my journey
from starting as an intern to becoming a permanent employee.
I also really enjoy the international environment and diversity of our teams.
The company’s focus on diversity, equality and inclusion really sets the tone
for a successful collaboration and great atmosphere.
NXP: How would you sum up the spirit of NXP in one sentence for potential
LZ: Bright minds – bright futures.
NXP: Why is NXP Austria such a great place to work at in particular?
LZ: The work environment at NXP Austria really embodies the NXP spirit. Here
in Austria, we like to start our day with a free coffee, fresh fruits and chat
with a colleague in our social room, the heart of our site. We also enjoy our
many social activities that are organized by employees, such as our summer
parties, Christmas parties and sports events, like a tennis tournament or
sledging. Due to our location right next to the river Mur, you can also enjoy
the beautiful cycling and running path during your break or before/after work,
because we also offer shower facilities.
