This session introduces the S32 Real-Time Drivers (RTD), a foundational software layer designed to provide hardware abstraction and deterministic control for NXP’s S32Z and S32E automotive processors. We cover the architecture, configuration, and integration of RTDs across both AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR environments.
Explore high-level and low-level driver interfaces, toolchain compatibility and the use of configuration tools like EB Tresos and NXP S32 Configuration Tool (S32CT). You will gain insight into how RTDs enable seamless interaction with a wide range of hardware peripherals—such as analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), controller area network (CAN), Ethernet, pulse width modulation (PWM) and more—while ensuring safety, scalability, and performance in automotive-grade applications.
