This session introduces developers to the Zephyr® real-time operating system (RTOS) and its integration with the NXP S32Z and S32E automotive processing platform. Gain an understanding of Zephyr’s open-source, scalable and secure architecture—designed for resource-constrained and safety-critical embedded systems.
Discover Zephyr’s kernel features, device driver model, configuration tools (Kconfig and Devicetree), and NXP’s tailored support for running Zephyr on Arm® Cortex®-R52 cores. We will also explore how Zephyr interfaces with NXP’s Real-Time Drivers (RTD), integrates with S32 Design Studio, and supports advanced features like controller area network (CAN), Ethernet, direct memory access (DMA), and more. Ideal for embedded engineers, this session equips attendees to build robust, real-time applications using Zephyr on S32Z and S32E platforms.
