ARINC 664 Switch and End Systems (AFDX compatible) software are available from NXP for operation on QorIQ processors. Some configurations are available now depending upon customer application of ARINC 664, operating system, selected QorIQ® Processor, and certification levels required from aviation authorities.
For lower safety assurance applications, such as cabin electronics, NXP offers Linux® software which runs on an available processor inside of a multicore QorIQ Processor and isolates all of the timing events, such as packet ingress interrupts and bandwidth allocation gap (BAG) timing interrupts, from the customer’s application(s) which source or sink Virtual Link data.
