PEG Lite provides a comprehensive set of entry level components to create compelling graphical user interfaces. PEG Lite is a low cost solution that is available for all embedded controllers, including free licensing options for NXP Microcontrollers.
As the entry point into the PEG graphics software family, PEG Lite enables developers to create GUI applications that naturally migrate to PEG Plus and/or PEG Pro as needs grow. Its flexible architecture also makes it easily extensible to allow the application developer to exceed the market demands for device GUI presentation. The modular design of PEG Lite also means it easily scales from small, monochromatic screens to large, full color displays.

Features
- Supports monochrome to 65K high color displays
- Supports custom bitmap based buttons and images
- Provides basic widgets, such as: text buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, progress bars, sliders, dials, scrollbars, …
- Supports development of multilingual interfaces (limited to 2 languages)
- Includes the Window Builder development tool, as WYSIWYG editor and code generator with integrated image converter and font creator
- PEG Lite is licensed for free on NXP silicon. The free licensing option does not include the initial 12-months of support. This can be purchased separately be contacting PEGInfo@nxp.com
- Support provides technical support from PEG Software engineers and access to additional releases and patches. Additional support options exist for custom driver development and professional engineering services.
PEG Lite Options
- Development License - This licensing level allows the developed runtime application to be deployed on up to 10K of a single end product. The 10K runtime deployment is a lifetime allotment with no additional royalties. (Limited Runtime License for a Single Product)
- Production Buyout License for a Single Product - This licensing level allows the developed runtime application to be deployed on an unlimited number of a single end product. The unlimited runtime deployment does not expire and there are no additional royalties. (Unlimited Runtime License for a Single Product)
- Unlimited Production Buyout License - This licensing level allows the developed runtime application to be deployed on an unlimited number of products from a single product family based on similar architecture without being restricted to a common MCU. The unlimited runtime deployment does not expire and there are no additional royalties. (Unlimited Runtime License for an Extended Family)
