About This Training

Get started with the recently released SMARC 2.1 standard and MSC SM2S-IMX8PLUS SMARC 2.1^™ module family, which integrates the i.MX 8M Plus applications processor from NXP Semiconductors.

In this training, we'll talk about the unique capabilities and features of the new MSC SM2S-IMX8PLUS, and introduce you to the new Edge AI Kit with dual image sensor camera and 10.1” Touch Display that works with the module. Then, we'll talk about how to implement AI software applications into this new platform and show the comparison of AI capability with and without the integrated neural network accelerator.

We will also show a smart crane demo that will display the possibilities of integrating face recognition and user identification.
