Part 1 | Get to Know the FreeMASTER Runtime Debugging Tool
FreeMASTER has been incorporated into NXP’s MCUXpresso SDK—now supporting all the most recent general purpose Arm® Cortex®-M MCUs from NXP.
FreeMASTER, from NXP, is a versatile tool that can be used for runtime monitoring, debugging and tuning embedded applications. However, another great aspect of this tool is its capabilities to connect to third-party applications. Watch this webinar to further explore this specific capability primarily focused on the coding of JavaScript-based HTML to create interactive dashboard applications running either directly inside the FreeMASTER application or standalone in a local or remote web browser. We will compare two communication technologies supported by FreeMASTER, the COM+/ActiveX and JSON-RPC, and will discuss their benefits when coding the dashboards. Examples of basic dashboards created in Chrome browser, Internet Explorer and also in Microsoft Excel will be demonstrated.

Nowadays, many embedded applications need a Human Machine Interface (HMI) to facilitate the interactions between the user, the machine and the operation environment. Such enhancements can be easily achieved with the FreeMASTER UI and FreeMASTER Embedded Driver.
