Because of this, product using the negative photoresist process and goldback devices built in the MOS3 East wafer fab are not conducive to transferring to new fabs. Regretfully, we will have to cease production of these products. Because of the timing of the scheduled shutdown, we will not be able to offer the usual notice of End-of-Life buys that you may be used to receiving from Motorola. On or before the last buy date shown, Motorola will allow customers to place end-of-life buy orders for these products. All products ordered during this period must be scheduled for final delivery no later than the last ship date shown. Motorola will not accept any orders placed after the last buy date or which schedule delivery after the last ship date. Where possible, our sales representatives may be able to assist you in locating replacement parts either from Motorola or from external sources, if any exist.
