    DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

          Motorola would like to give advance notification of our plans to
          announce a supply expansion plan by qualifying two test contract
          sites in Kuala Lumpor, Malaysia. Motorola's plan is to begin test
          correlations in October 2002, and continue through completion. By
          the end of Q1, 2003, all product lines that are listed in this
          Product Bulletin will be qualified in a Motorola test site and a
          qualified Motorola contract supplier.
          A further GPCN will be issued once data is available.

    QUALIFICATION PLAN

          The correlation exercise will be performed by product line. One
          device line in the product line will be selected as the correlation
          vehicle. The device used for the correlation will be based on the
          following guidelines: highest runrate, automotive customer.
         
          In order to show that the Motorola qualified test site can
          successfully test these parts, a bin to bin correlation and datalog
          comparison will be performed. 3000 units from 3 different wafer
          lots will be run in the correlation. This plan is a re-use of the
          Barracuda EKB->KLM correlation plan. 3 * 1000 units (500 112LD /
          500 80LD) from 3 seperate wafer lots

    ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTIC SUMMARY

          Parametric correlation will be performed with a minimum of 5
          correlation units generated in the current test facility, and 3
          lots with lot qty >= 1000 pcs,

    CHANGED PART IDENTIFICATION

          Where applicable, traceabiliy code will change to indicate the test
          site. Trace code for ChipPAC is RH. Trace code for KESMalaysia is
          MZ.
