    DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

          This Product Bulletin announces two specification changes for the
          following devices: 8250A, 8255A, 8260A, 8264A, 8265A and 8266A,
          with mask number K25A. The two specification changes are 1) Sp43 (a
          timing change) and 2) CPU Fmin (nominal speed and voltage change).
         
          The changes are:
          1) Sp43:
          The HW spec reflects a change of the minimum output delay on sp43:
          a) SP43a is a new min CPM AC spec for PIO
          b) SP43a will now be 0.5ns for both 66MHz and 83MHz bus frequency
         
          2) CPU Fmin spec:
          CPU Fmin spec: For devices operating at CPU frequencies of 200MHz
          and below the specified core and Analog VDD supply voltage ranges
          (Vdd, VccSyn1 and Vccsyn) are now 1.7V - 1.9V and the CPU minimum
          frequency (Fmin) is 150MHz. For devices operating at CPU
          frequencies greater than 200MHz but less that 233MHz the specified
          core and Analog VDD supply voltage ranges (Vdd, VccSyn1 and Vccsyn)
          are now required to be in the range of 1.7V - 2.1V. For devices
          operating at CPU frequencies greater than 233MHz the specified core
          and Analog VDD supply voltage range (Vdd, VccSyn1 and Vccsyn) are
          now required to be in the range of 1.9V - 2.2V and Fmin is 190MHz.
          The previous Fmin was 150MHz over the voltage range of 1.7V - 2.2V.
