| How to get this software | ||||||||||||
| This software is included as part of the CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital | ||||||||||||
| Signal Controllers. Follow these steps: | ||||||||||||
| 1. | Install CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital Signal Controllers | |||||||||||
| 2. | Launch CodeWarrior, and create new Processor Expert project | |||||||||||
| a. | Select File > New menu | |||||||||||
| b. | Select Processor Expert Stationery | |||||||||||
| c. | Type project name | |||||||||||
| d. | Click OK | |||||||||||
| e. | Select desired target CPU | |||||||||||
| f. | Click OK | |||||||||||
| 3. | Within Bean Selector window expand CPU Internal Peripherals > Peripheral Initialization Beans | |||||||||||
| a. | If Bean Selector window is not visible, select Processor Expert > View > Bean Selector menu | |||||||||||
| 4. | Locate desired bean and add it to the project by double clicking it | |||||||||||
| Using selected driver | ||||||||||||
| Once driver (bean) is added to the project, configure it using Properties tab in the Bean Inspector window | ||||||||||||
| If Bean Inspector window is not visible, select Processor Expert > View > Bean Inspector menu | ||||||||||||
| Using PESL | ||||||||||||
| 1. | Select PESL icon in the project and right mouse click it | |||||||||||
| 2. | Select PESL Enabled menu | |||||||||||
| 3. | Expand PESL by clicking on the + icon next to the PESL icon in the project window | |||||||||||
| 4. | Expand desired peripheral by clicking on the + icon | |||||||||||
| 5. | Select desired method, and drag it to your code. | |||||||||||
