DTMF Detection Example Application for 5685x

Overview

This demo involves dialing the phone with a particular key, detecting, and displaying the same key on the

console. For more information on DTMF Detection, see the DTMF Detection Library manual.

The demo is set up so that the DTMF signals generated by the telephone set are given as inputs to the

DTMF Detection algorithm. The detected keys are displayed on CodeWarrior’s console when they are

detected. The key displayed on the console should match those dialed.

How to get this software

This example application is included as part of the CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital

Signal Controllers. Follow these steps:

1.

Install CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital Signal Controllers

2.

Launch CodeWarrior, and create new Processor Expert project

a.

Select File > New menu

b.

Select Processor Expert Examples Stationery

c.

Type project name

d.

Click OK

e.

Select DemoApplications > Telephony > DTMFDet > 56858

f.

Click OK

3.

Generate application code by selecting Processor Expert > Generate Code menu
