The Ethernet TAP probe uses LEDs to indicate its status. If you are troubleshooting Ethernet communications problems, the information in table below may help.

| Red heartbeat | If DHCP is enabled, Ethernet TAP probe failed to acquire its network configuration. | ||
| RUN/PAUSE | Top | Off | Debugger is not connected to Ethernet TAP probe. |
| Solid red | Ethernet TAP probe is in pause mode. | ||
| Solid green | Ethernet TAP probe is in run mode. | ||
